Description

BreastScreen NSW Sydney West is a FREE service for women over the age of 40, but particularly for women aged 50 -69 years, which aims to reduce the number of deaths from breast cancer through early detection. A doctor's referral is not necessary, and women can make an appointment by phoning 13 20 50. BreastScreen NSW Sydney West has eight Sunflower Clinics where women can go for a mammogram including: MYER Blacktown, MYER Castle Hill, MYER Parramatta, MYER Penrith, Auburn Hospital, Blue Mountains Hospital, Lithgow Hospital and Mt Druitt Hospital. BreastScreen NSW Sydney West covers the Western Sydney region and is co-ordinated by the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute.
