The first and last time...

First time I have ever purchased a bike from Action, and the last time.. I have purchased six scooters/bikes from the same dealer over the past seve years, but due to moving, needed someone closer to home. I had walked past Action a few time and needing a new bike; decided to drop in. Anyway, I managed to find a second hand bike, which they promised had been looked over, checked and everything was in good order. After taking the bike away, it just didn't sound right. Also, for the record, I'm no mechanic. However, having owned a number of bikes over the years, you learn to hear for unusal sounds. Well, having got the scooter serviced last week (elsewhere and someone I know), they were shocked (as was I) to find the oil sump almost dry, faulty breaks, coolant like sludge and bad wheel alighment. Guys (Action), being second hand, I would have paid to get it serviced if it needed it, but to lie outright about its condition and that you had the service department check it. Anyway, its going strong now and lesson learned. You may have got a sale this time, but as future sales go and becoming an advocate for other friends who ride - damage done. Oh, forget sending emails or leaving messages, found they only replied before the sale was done.
