Saddlery wholesalers was established in 1987 at 14 Carbine St Ascot by Ms Mary Gracie and has been one the main Equestrian go to stores in the Perth area ever since. It is situated in the heart of the Ascot horse racing precinct 100 meters from the Ascot racecourse horse gate entry. During this period since the shop opening, Mary Gracie had the privellage of being the owner of champion race horse "El Presidente" one of the freaks of the Western Australian racing scene, winning 10 from 14 starts and $1 million in prize money by 2008, in a time when $1 million was a lofty amount.
