Dodgy Builder in Queensland!

I would suggest anyone wanting to build with Choice homes in Queensland think twice before using them to build your house. Since building an investment property with them 4 years ago we have had no end of issues some really serious. Faulty hot water system, faulty arconditioner unit, faulty automatic roller door, leaking roof more than once, blocked drains inside and out, water seapage into internal rooms requiring repainting and carpet replacing more than once, faulty electrical wiring requiring light fitting to be rewired, substandard finish to skirting boards with them falling away and warping, pantry cupboard door incorrectly fitted requiring new hinges and refitting, house movement to the point of doors no longer shutting properly, ceiling fans stop working and need replacing, air vents falling out repeatedly, door locks sub standard and need replacing, outside wooden step warped and made of seconds material and the list goes on. We have spent more money on this brand new house in 4 years than we have spent on a 1970 built duplex we have owned for 6 years!! The builder has done some work on drainage but when it reappeared again they washed their hands of it and we had to get the BSA to investigate and their building inspector issued an order against then to repair the fault and the damage it had caused! Please do youself a favour and choose a better builder and save yourself from unnecessary stress and heartache!
