When I attended Hastings State School, I was known as Sue Dalton. School principal was a Mr.Cloke ? and my grade 2 teacher was Mrs.Mirabella ( loved her ). Loved sport, hated having my pigtails dipped in the ink wells, was scared of Mrs....?,think she taught English......gave her a bottle of Scotch for Christmas.She always resented me for 'taking a whole day off' to have a hair cut.Funny old thing. Remember the sandpit,the te tree at the bottom of the playground and the beautiful,huge tree that gave us so many acorns. Have so many memories of my time spent at this school. Regards, Sue.
