(1) Bad service

We were very disappointed with Classic Curtain’s service. We were initially given the wrong quote (because they forgot GST) and they took much longer to get the curtains than originally promised. Classic Curtains also did a terrible job with the installation of our curtains. We wanted to install some curtains in our lounge room which has a very long sliding glass door. However, they attached the curtain rack to the architrave, which was far too weak to support the heavy curtains we chose. As a result, the curtains started to pull the architrave off the wall, which caused a lot of damage to the wall of our brand new apartment. Classic Curtains refused to fix the problem, stating it was the fault of the builder. I would avoid using Classic Curtains. Although they are a little cheaper than most other stores, it’s not worth the headache they cause through their poor workmanship. We also had communication issues throughout the process. As the owners are from overseas, they had trouble with English and could not explain things to us in a clear manner, which was especially frustrating when trying to discuss the above problems.
