What a hidden gem!

I had an old, but beautiful necklace that I had picked up in my travels to Italy that was one of my aboslute faves! I was totally devastated when it broke and that was almost 2 years ago. No jeweller would touch it as it was made out of Venetian glass beads and those that would, quoted me a ridiculous amount. So you can imagine my excitement when my husband discovered a shop that said that they do that sort of stuff all the time and to bring it in. I travelled all the way from Rose Bay to get it fixed. The girl who served me was professional, friendly and told me it would be ready in a few days. When I came to pick it up, I was thrilled! It looked even better than before (as they suggested some really nice beads to replace some that I was missing) and they had even glued a broken main bead that I was sure they would have to throw away. I will definitely be back - after going through the rest of my jewellery drawer to see what else I can get fixed. What a hidden gem, next to the post office in crows nest. Worth the trip over the bridge!
