“Beautiful setting, lovely room”

We stayed here for 2 nights in one of the Ribbon rooms which was amazing because we're pretty sure we didn't book one of these lovely rooms so we got an upgrade! Who doesn't love an upgrade?! We drove from Cairns in the pouring rain so were a bit disappointed when we arrived as the weather was so bad but then we went to our room and were well happy. Our room was huge with a massive bed and nice en suite and it was really clean. We are dinner the first night in the restaurant which was really nice and good value for money as they have some backpacker choices which were cheaper. Luckily the rain stopped the next day and we went to the private beach and walked along to the lookout which I recommend as it was lovely. The second night we used the kitchen which isn't the best equipped kitchen but it's ok. It was lovely at night hearing all the animals making their noises and realising you're sleeping in the middle of a rainforest. We absolutely loved it and would definitely return. Stayed February 2015, traveled as a couple

Heaven in the rainforest

This was my first visit to Cape Tribulation, and what an introduction. I was completely unprepared for the beauty of the setting, it was quite surreal. I was traveling alone but the staff were so helpful and friendly I felt like I was one of the family. They have such great knowledge about the local environment and are very enthusiastic to share. Being taken to the tip of the cape to watch the sunrise was certainly a highlight. I had a wonderful room, and the restaurant menu throughout the day was a real surprise. Fresh, original dishes all beautifully served. The whole place has a peace to it that takes you over. I am already planning my return. Brilliant. Stayed February 2015, traveled with friends

“Bring me back to the rainforest”

while on a work trip up the east coast we heard about Cape Trib beach house and how it was like nowhere else in Australia. We couldnt miss it and decided to go for one night to see what all the fuss was about. When we got their we were first greeted by the friendliest staff that instantly made us feel at home in the rainforest. The beautiful resort is tucked away in what you would call Paradise. We checked into our room, which was amazing, clean and so peaceful. then jumped into the pool while enjoying a few beers from the beautiful bar/restaurant. when the sun started to come down and we were sitting at dinner we were invited to the beach for a bonfire (which we found out they do every night). this was incredible as it was like our own private beach and the company was just as good. When we finally made it to bed we couldnt bring ourselves to leave and decided to stay for another two nights. if you are doing the East Coast you cant miss going to stay at the Cape Trib Beach house as I know you'll be as blown away as we were. Happy travels :) Stayed December 2014, traveled on business
